Nogata City is located almost in the center of Fukuoka Prefecture. Located about an hour’s drive from Hakata and Ogura, the Ongagawa River running through the city offers pleasant breezes on its wide lawns. You can spend a relaxing time in a quaint corner of the old gate town where the community is located.

Each resident creates a job by giving shape of “want to try” in areas such as renovating vacant houses, farming, manufacturing, bakery production, clothing, design, and so on. This is a next-generation type of shared community that practices sustainable living.

It is managed and operated by Nanya Kanya Farm, a voluntary organization. The representative, Fujita, lives in two locations, one in Osaka and the other in Tokyo. Other hosts include creators, first-class architects, designers, former teachers, and a variety of other nankanya-kanya members.

As a result of following their desire to "Keep it real, be yourself" people from various backgrounds such as starting a business, changing jobs, getting divorced, having parallel careers, moving with their families, living in two locations, etc., have gathered here. You can experience the realities of a sharing community. You can talk to many people while working in jobs created in the community, such as deli production, sewing, furniture remaking, art activities, childcare sharing, and more.
